Sid Hodges joined the Hodges & Hart, formerly Venne & Company, in 1997 as a Partner.  Prior to joining the firm, he  was in private practice from 1989 through 1997, providing an array of accounting and business consulting services within a broad range of industries, including but not limited to retail, import brokerage, manufacturing, distribution, food processing, and real estate development.  From 1971 through 1989, Sid was a partner with KPMG previously known as Peat Marwick Main & Company.  He is a graduate from the University of Maryland with high honors.  Mr. Hodges provides a diverse business background maintaining a genuine passion for client satisfaction.

Jeff Hart joined the Hodges & Hart, formerly Venne & Company in 2001 and became a Partner in 2003.  Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Hart worked in public accounting since 1995.  Jeff maintains a broad and diverse accounting background assisting and consulting with individual and business clients, in addition to overseeing the audit department.  Jeff is a graduate from San Jose State University receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and certified in 2000.

Brian Tanz joined the firm in 1999 as the Director responsible for business advisory services.  Mr. Tanz maintains fifteen years experience in corporate banking, finance and client relations.  Brian is a graduate from Oregon State University earning Bachelor of Science degrees in Business Administration (finance concentration) and Political Science.  He is an active member of the Risk Management Association (RMA), The Institute of Business Appraisers (IBA) and the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts (NACVA).  Brian earned the Accredited Valuation Analyst (AVA) and Certified Business Appraiser (CBA) credentials.  The IBA and NACVA are individual associations dedicated to supporting business valuation and finance professionals.  Brian maintains a broad understanding of business operations and management in addition to acting as a trusted advisor to numerous enterprises.
